Our Unique Approach

Primary Care Division

Our traditional vet clinic focuses on preventive care. We offer wellness appointments, spay/neuter services, and dental surgeries. We have a fully-equipped in-house diagnostic lab and x-ray capabilities. We also offer adjunctive therapies such as acupuncture and laser treatments.

Our plan is to grow this side of the hospital into a 4-5 vet practice to fill the need for more vet services in the Central Island community

We want to model how non-profit and traditional vet care can live sustainably side by side.

We have created a 450sqft treatment/surgery area within our ~2900sqft clinic that is purpose-built for working with rescue animals. This little treatment area opened in June 2023, and we began working while the remainder of the primary care clinic was built around us.

Rescue
Division

We have created a dedicated space, team, and schedule for working with local animal rescue organizations. We provide spay/neuter and vaccination services, as well as dentistry and urgent care for all our rescue partners. This side of the hospital operates on a not-for-profit basis.

We plan to expand our services to further serve the community by developing low-income assistance programs.

Before opening as a full-service traditional companion animal hospital, Fantastic Beasts Veterinary Services started to help local animal rescue organizations. Now we serve clients and their furry family members, while continuing to help rescue animals find furr-ever homes of their own.

Meet our team of Unicorn Vets

Is Fantastic Beasts Veterinary Services a good fit for you and your pet?

We believe the key to a successful relationship between patients, clients, and vet teams is shared values and interests.

So here are some of the things we find most important:

  1. All animals deserve care and respect (including people!)

  2. We believe in the "Spectrum of Care" approach to Veterinary Medicine

  3. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure

  4. All pets should be spayed/neutered (please try the "Adopt, Don't Shop" philosophy)
