Rescue Division

  • Are you an animal rescue organization on Vancouver Island looking for high-volume, high-quality spay/neuter services?

  • Would you like assistance in creating and implementing vaccine and parasite control protocols?

  • Do you have sick or injured individual animals in your rescue?

  • Or groups of rescue animals with common diseases?

We can help you with any and all of these things using a rescue/shelter medicine approach.

We strive to model how non-profit and traditional vet care can live sustainably side by side.

Starting in June 2023, Fantastic Beasts Veterinary Services opened a small treatment and surgery area within our larger hospital.  This space is used by the non-profit division of our clinic known as "Island Rescue Veterinary Services and Society."

Our IRVS division (aka - Island Rescue Vet)  works with local non-profit animal organizations to provide spay/neuter and vaccination services, as well as dentistry and urgent care as needed.

We do not directly facilitate adoptions, rather our purpose is to help organizations with their behind-the-scenes veterinary needs. If you are searching for an adoptable furry friend, please visit our rescue partners directly.

Our rescue partners

Our rescue division partners with registered non-profit societies and charitable organizations province wide.
